Ishwar Deshmukh
College of Physical Education, was established in the year 1960. The
College was then known as “Training Institute for Physical Education”
and was running C.P.Ed. D.P.Ed. and then H.D.Ed. course. These Courses
were run by the Government of Maharashtra. In the year 1983, as a policy
matter of the State government, our Institution become affiliated to
Nagpur University. Since then, we are running B.P.Ed.(One Year), B.P.E.(3
Years) , M.P.Ed.(2Years) Courses. This Institution was established by
the Citizens Education Society which was established by Late Adv. Shri
Ishwarbabuji Deshmukh with some mission and vision. He himself was a
Sportsman in his days and also freedom fighter. His motto was to serve
the nation through medium of education.
Our institution is recognized by Govt. of Maharashtra, permanent
affiliated to R.T.M. Nagpur University Nagpur, recognized by the N.C.T.E.
accredited B+ by NAAC. and included under section 2 (f) and 12 (B) UGC
Act 1956. |

General
Guidelines & Instructions |
 |
Practical classes will start from 6.30 in the morning & 4.30 in
the evening The usual duration for practical classes will be 2
hrs. thereafter |
 |
The
theory classes from 9.00 a.m. to 11.30 a.m. |
 |
To
be eligible for appearing in the annual examination the candidate
must have attended at least 90% of both theory and practical
classes. |
 |
The
Candidate having less than 90% of attendance in theory and
Practical, shall not be allowed to appear in the university
examination of the ensuing course. |

Conduct and Discipline |
 |
Discipline and conduct is given
an optimum importance during the period of training. Punctuality,
Regularity, hard work and good behavior are absolutely essential
for completion of the training |
 |
Any Objectionable conduct
reported or observed within or outside the college will make any
student (men or women) liable for strict Disciplinary action or
even rustication. |
 |
All the students are required
to abstain from undignified or offensive behavior inside and
outside of the college premises. |
 |
A Student is liable to be
expelled or rusticated from the college for breach of discipline
and General code of conduct. In such matter the decision taken by
the college shall be the final and binding.
